In 2010, I expanded my line of t-shirts into swim for a few seasons. I felt the men’s swim market was a bore. Besides introducing playful prints that now seem to be the norm, I developed a special design technique that allowed an image to carry over from one side of the leg to the other, the swim trunk becoming a canvas for a print or photograph. I debuted the collection that year at various retail tradeshows, with great response. A few years later, men’s swim exploded, with similar playful prints and photographic layouts. Some lines even made it their “thing.”
